about me

The Story

Years ago, after completing my Islamic studies, I decided to study Computer Security.

Someone joked,

“Go burn your religious degree.”

I never did.

Today, I work in cybersecurity, continue serving as an ARS (T1) certified
asatizah, and co-build digital businesses.

Not because they’re different lives.

Because they’re different roles, guided by the same principles.

Different roles. Same principles.

Beyond the Labels

I became an Ustaz first graduating from Al-Azhar University in 2013 with a degree in Islamic Jurisprudence. Even during those years, I was drawn to technology.

In 2008, I became Head of IT at Perkemas, the Singaporean Student’s Welfare Assembly in Egypt, taking over the website Perkemas.org from the asatizah before me. I still manage it — voluntarily — nearly two decades later.

After Al-Azhar, I followed my passion for tech and earned a second degree in Computer Security from Northumbria University (UK) in 2017.

Today, I bring both worlds together: 15+ years in technology alongside a lifelong commitment to faith and service. Over time, I’ve realised that the same principles that build trust in people also build trust in technology, business and leadership.

Whether you’re looking to collaborate, exchange ideas, or build something meaningful, I’d love to hear from you.

What I Believe in

My Philosophy

Technology changes.
Principles shouldn’t.
Whether I’m working in cybersecurity, building a business, teaching, or raising a family,
I believe the same values should guide every role we play.

Trust before technology.
Integrity before influence.
Curiosity before certainty.
Service before self.

Different roles.
Same principles.

This is what “Technology with Integrity” means to me.

I believe our greatest contribution comes not from choosing one identity, but from bringing our principles into every role we play.
